Em Bee Aye.. Half Way Through!

Up and kickin' with my 91st post now. :)

Surely, it’s been a long time; let me update you on my life. I have now completed an year of my MBA programme.. wow! I am now a half-educated MBA. This is what an MBA(like me :P) identifies with:

Using indecipherable jargons in conversations and making it sound difficult professional

Doing stuff at the 11:59th hour

Spending sleepless nights searching making presentations

Eating junk food for 20 minutes to save time and wasting 10 more minutes instead

Buying and carrying reading Economic Times and Financial Express

Using Facebook as a tool of Social Professional Networking

Switching CNBC 24x7 to keep a watch on hot hosts stocks and shares

Apparently, people have always perceived MBAs as conmen. Trust me on this, MBAs never deceive people; it’s just that their smartness impresses people enough to get conned. And to top the accusation list, marketing specialization is the most besieged; you buy because we have the capability of making you buy. Next time around, think before you say anything like that. :P

This special note goes to all the MBA aspirants around: MBA can do to you what no one or nothing ever could. It surely does teach you to think with a rational bent of mind, and that does not come with books or syllabi; it comes out of the environment you‘re in. Want to get successful, MBA is not a requisite. This reminds me of a beautiful quote by Christine Comaford:

“When it comes to success in business, an MBA degree is optional. But a GSD, which is only earned by Getting Stuff Done, is required.”

So close to reality!

While I am putting up this post, I, for one, am happy that I am half-way through to become one. :)

Happy Half-MBA* Saad!

*provided Saad doesn’t get a back-log in the term papers.. :P

If blogger had an option of retweeting like twitter, I would have re-blogged this, though you are half done, and am completely over with this Meta-Bolically Aggregating disease! :P

PS: I like and agree on the 'red' lines! Btw, try reading MINT, you will actually like it, unlike ET and FE! :)

Congrats and all the best for the rest, nail it HARD dude! :P
